Yes, the 00 models had more features than the Xo versions. The Xo versions were kinda like a "budget" version of the Xoo models.
IN the economic downturn of the 1970s when Sears was designing the new "center knob" washer models, I was disgusted they didn't have anything but Xo models and no more Xoo models. But in doing research for a marketing paper, I found that's how Sears reduced costs by reducing the number of models in each series. Yes, the "new" mddels did have little enhancements as you went up the price line. Like the lowest series 70 would have just 3 cycles. The next one would add a 4th water level and a pre0-wash and maybe a bleach dispenser. the tol 70 would have variable water level (or 5), a soak cycle added, as well as fabric softener dispenser.
