Kenmore C110, Transmission needed

I'm located a little bit west of Toronto, Canada.

Looking to buy a transmission for a Sears Kenmore Heavy Duty Washer.
Model number is C110 4820081.
This machine has been a tank for me and my family for many years and is otherwise in mint condition (the serviceman's words).
However the repairman cannot locate the transmission anywhere.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Kenny, I don't think you have a good model #

It should start 110.----------

What follows the letter C is the serial #

If the model # is not clear just a picture of the washer would be sufficient to get a Pt # for the transmission.

IIRC, a leading C on the model indicates a Canadian model?  KennyMoore's location is Toronto Canada.

yah looks like all Canadian models had the letter "C" at the start of their model numbers.
It's making it difficult to cross reference with the American model number.

Repairman updated me

He mentioned .......any belt driven transmission that has the "wig-wag" on it will work.
Now where do I find one of these?......lol.
I've had a couple of laughs speaking with suppliers trying to locate one.

The gearcase for these machines is getting pretty scarce these days. I rebuild all of the ones for my belt drives but finding anyone to do that for you anymore is just about impossible. The parts for the rebuild are also disappearing quickly. Were you told why the gearcase needs to be replaced? Usually if little has been done over the years to a machine of this age, it’s probably time for all new water seals, new center post bearings, basket drive or spin tube shaft, and a transmission rebuild.

WP Belt Drive Transmission Needed

Hi Kenny,  How old is the washer ? 95% of them are the same, But there are at least three different versions that could affect what you need.

 

We still get in quite a few WP built washers every year that still have perfectly good transmissions where no water has gotten in them, I try to save them if I have time before We scrap the machines.

Thank you for your quick responses.
There is oil leaking from the unit (transmission), spilling onto the floor.
As to the condition of the rest of the unit, it was told to me that it is in amazingly good shape.
I have the model number posted above but it's the Canadian model number and I'm having difficulty cross referencing it to the same American model number.
The serviceman mentioned that Whirlpool made the same model and one other manufacturer as well. He also mentioned that any transmission with the wig-wag would work with my unit.
I would want to confirm the transmission part number with my serviceman first before a purchase.
The exact year of purchase would only be a guess, a ballpark would be mid to late 80's.
I have attached a pic, maybe it helps to determine the model.

So sounds to me like the spin tube seal failed and slowly displaced the oil in the transmission with water. The last part number I know of for a transmission was 362901. I would also recommend the replacement of the basket drive or spin tube because that is what caused the oil leaking more than likely. If you’re going to change the basket drive or spin tube, I would personally replace the center post bearings and seals as well.
