I think it had something to do the bleach being dispensed if I remember. Its been some time though since I used a Frigidaire like that, but that cycle statement to made me wonder.

Right, it's to run a bleach-rinse for sanitizing the machine as would be appropriate if someone in the household is having an illness.

A 1976-78 Sears Kenmore Model 70 Center Dial Large Capactity Washer.

That's the EXACT Model Pictured Below....

Don't Know What Color That One Is, But Ours Was White....

I see how the DELICATE label is in smaller beige font on the 6-minute increment of the KNIT cycle. Must have been the following year when the DELICATE cycle label was modified as the same size as the KNIT label.

BTW, when did Kenmores first have rubber knobs?
