I don't think that's a fifties machine.
That machine looks like it's more from the 60's than from the 50's but I could be wrong...who knows? The upper roto-rack makes me wonder.
Also, what's the difference between the light and short cycles?
A little bit of rust along the top of the tub up front where the latch mech. is.
Not a bad looking machine but for that price I wonder how it looks underneath.

That's definitely a 60s machine - my guess would be '63 or '64.
I'm trying to remember the exact sequence, but I think the Short Wash did a W-R-R-D
sequence and the Light Wash was W-R-R and no dry on Kenmores of this era. I guess one of these days I should work on the built-in Kenmore 600 I have to see for sure... LOL
