Yes, 1963 is the correct year. This console will give off a great light show in the dark.
But it has that inefficient perforated drum back that makes an electric model very expensive to operate. If someone who knows what they are doing can remove the drum and put felt strips in the bulkhead in a backwards L shape to the right and underneath the heat inlet and then in an L below and to the left of the of the exhaust port, you can improve the efficiency by preventing the freshly heated air from passing behind the drum and going out the exhaust and forcing more of it to go through the clothes.
