1972 model. Looks like they replaced the original handle with a coffee colored one.

I had the same dryer, in gas, bought new from Sears for much less than their price. Mine did have a chrome handle. Good dryer though.

I have the same dryer but in white. It was my grandmom’s and works like a charm. The only downside is the capacity is a bit small
