Haven't seen too many with that console, must have been a short run. The dial looks very hard to read but it could be worn or just lighting.
The POS washer just needs new suspension rods. A quick and easy profit turnaround for such a ridiculous design. I'm $ure repairmen LOVE the$e $tupid thing$.

That's a true 1975 version of the matching washer. The the location of the selector knobs tells the tale. I hope Melvin gets this one. It's not easy to put together a matching set of this rare pair.

Wasn't Melvin looking for the better version with the cast aluminum panel and the little knobs up on the top front edge of the control panel?
This was also a fairly rare panel design, but it wasn't the nice one with the cast panel

This is a great looking 1975 70 series. I sure would go after it if I hadn’t saved one of these sets in gold earlier this year. John is correct in that I’d like to have the 1974 model with the selector knobs on top. Both designs were short lived and were replaced by the black panel models in 1976. I like both designs and they are my favorite years for kenmore.

This is a gas model though which makes me want it more.
What happened to the washer? Did they have an animal that marked territory on it?
