I noticed today when I was unloading the washer that there was some water on the floor. It wasnt a tremendous amount. I opened the front bottom panel (I have a rear control deck) and Im thinking it may be coming from either the pump hose or the clamp is worn and water is dripping out.

I am really torn on the SQ FL'er. It is a lot of money, and I want to make sure Im going to like it. I have been hesitating hoping that I can find another 24" deep machine to fit my small space. The only ones I have found are smaller capacity than I have now (have a 2.7) in my price range. I wish the American market wasnt so gung ho on these large machines.

I am almost tempted to get a SQ TL'er (AMW542). Its half the price of the FL'er. I dunno, I have been waffling for almost a year now...

Advice please?

i would advise you buy the top load washer if its half price in the mean time it will give you the time to save up if in the near future you went a front load washer but you can always store the top load speed queen as a backup machine if you have problems with your front load washer and need a backup machine.

Called for a price today

I called the appliance store I called last year to get a quote on the AFN50R. I was happy to get a quote $300-400 less than I see it elsewhere on the internet. They have it in stock and can deliver and install next day.

Mike, I watched your videos on YT. It looks like a great washer, but my DH has jeans and other work clothes that I think will be better cleaned in the FL'er. I think I just have to bit the bullet on this one.

I am loathe to lose my ATC, but in the grand scheme, I just need to get over it and learn how to adjust for cold winter water temperatures.

Feet on the SQ FL'er

My current washer has rollers on the back of the machine. Makes it a breeze to move it forward and back. I just looked through the installation literature, and it looks like you have to level back feet as well as front. Boy, once that puppy is in, there will be no moving it I guess.

Its the tub that's leaking

Im running a load now with the kick plate off. Its just when the machine spins. I have a towel in there for now until I can get the new machine.
