Kenmore King Size Agitator Question

Recently I was able to acquire a 2001 Kenmore Elite Catalyst washer. It came with a pretty close to identical agitator that it would’ve come with factory, and the only part I needed to order was the Triple Action cam assembly. However, I was curious as to whether or not one of the Whirlpool/Kenmore single piece agitators would fit into this machine. I included a picture as to the type I am referring too.

Hi Henry, That agitator should fit and work fine, you just will not be able to stuff the washer as full and have the load turn over as well.

See if you could find the Modular 2 piece lint filter Surgilator with 5 vanes. That was a good agitator for these machines .
