Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

For what it is, yes. That washer is exactly like the 1982 Kenmore I had (later became the base of the Frankenmore); 3 water levels, 3 temperature combinations, 4 cycles (not counting wash times), 2 speeds, and a Penta-Vane agitator with manual-clean waterfall lint filter.

Out of all of the black-panel Kenmores, this particular control font style is my least favorite. I like the "block" graphics of the late-70's machines better.

Hey Westy

I think I had the exact machine as well, I left in my old apt bldg when I sold it, except it did not have the pentavane, I have been searching for a fabric soft dispenser from an old kenmore like this one.. are you guys near Austin TX, im there all the time for work

Very similar to my parent's first washer/dryer pair, an '81 Kenmore with sudsaver.

Ours was harvest gold, and my parents bought it because Sears actually had a discount because of the color, heh.

I now remember when I was 6 or 7 I used to love to watch that thing work, and the sounds it would make.
