Hmmm. Probably a roto-rack, shame there are no pictures of the insides....
Of course it's a roto rack.

WE HAD THIS MODEL
My parents bought this as a built in 1972. We ran it hard for 14 years. We had 7 people In the house, 5 of which were kids. With that kind of use, that Roto-Rack Never stopped spinning the entire time. We had it in coppertone to match the cooktop, and double oven.
