That's a spin-drain washer. It has the clothes guard ring which was added a year or so into production.

I think the color is toast as it’s usually hard to discern almond from white in pictures.

Yes 24 inch direct drive.
Yes doeskin and fawn were definitely earlier colors, late '60's, this one would be Toast!

Kenmore Dryer
I like the color believe it or not. And of course I love the center dial silver knob gold on black control panels. My all time favorite color scheme. Only thing I can pick on if I wanted to are the cycles on the dryer.
This is my rendition of the Kenmore dryer if it were mine.
5,600 watt heater and plenty of safety stats for a workhorse dryer. Medium low heat is my version of soft heat. Drum light. Large capacity with hamper door.
