Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

The dryer is. Newer than the washer period it's a kid more 700 from 1970 or so I think the washer may be also a kid Moore 700 but that previous generation.

The washer console isn't identified per series but probably is equivalent to a 700.  It dates between 1965 and 1967 per some online catalogs.

The dryer console IS labeled as a 700.  Appears to be between 1970 and 1972.  The same panel was used on the super-size dryer but this one isn't that.  A similar non-super-size model is in a 1973 Fall/Winter catalog but different (updated) door handle and lint lid.  Also in a 1974 Fall/Winter with a another different lint lid and not listed for coppertone.

Sears tended to be free-form with marketing, repeating console designs, and models available but not shown in this or that catalog.  The best way to pinpoint the ages is, as always, via the serial numbers.

The dryer control panel looks a lot like those on the Avocado 800 set my neighbor V. got in the Summer of 1972.

The catalogs didn't always show all the same models and variations displayed in the store. Also, special sale catalogs sometimes had different models than shown in the S&S and F&W big books.

The washer is a 700 and a 1965 alphabet model. This model was in stock from 1965 to 1968, and I am guessing this might be a 1967 version of it, as it appears to have the plastic black SuperRotoswirl agitator. 1967 was the only year of the black plastic one of these, as the agitator was bakelite in 1966 and earlier years, and gold in 1968 and later years. The dryer is a 1969 model 700.
