Could be a 57

My parents bought the identical model in 57, When the old Economat wouldnt squeeze the clothes dry anymore. It came with a preggie rotoswirl agi. it went 10 uears, with 5 kids, and was replaced with a 67 600 series lemon. It came with a straight vane agi, that my mom disliked, and we swapped the two. that machine only ran 7 years, and thankfully died. I replaced it with a filter flo.

Wow, I believe that may have been the first washer my parents had when I was born in 1966. All I know is my mother later told me it came with the house in Dallas they bought before I was born. All I remember was it had the pregger roto swirl, waterfall lint filter (which is my favorite kind of filter), and the tub was sprekled I think. It was replaced in 1968 with the Kenmore 800 alphabet washer in avocado which lasted until 1993, which is pretty good. Curiosity is killing the cat, in our case ours did wash some diapers, but Gyrafoam do you mind telling me why are you referring to it as a diaper washer? Thank you all for your time, and knowledge.

1959 Kenmore Washer Rescued

A friend Jeff [ Thunderbird 65 ] drove up and brought this beauty back, the washer is in nearly unused condition, picture of the agitator and lint filter to follow.

Sears did not call these machines diaper washers, but of course in this time period of Baby-Boomers being born many washers were used for washing diapers.
