Saddened to hear of the he death of Sir Kenneth Grange (17/7/1929-22/7/2024) Britains most prominent modern designer. We know him for his big projects like our Kenwood products and the British Rail Intercity 125 trains,
but the list of others such as Kodak Instamatic, Frister Rossman Sewing Machines, Razors & Beyond - His Book Making Britain Modern is a must read .

Kenwood designs

thanks for this update, I have a Kitchenaid Classic but after finding the Kenwood that is what I now always use and now have several models. I like their designs and prefer their styling. I find it interesting that Kitchenaids are gaining popularity in the U.K. but I suppose as with me the different from the norm in your home country is appealing. I don't know the truth but some imply the Kenwood is more durable, or perhaps the older models.

Sir Kenneth Grange must be the U.K.'s equivalent to U.S.A.'s Raymond Loewy[this post was last edited: 7/22/2024-19:47]
