I ran out of bags and was looking for some that are similar to  the Filtrete bags I used to use, a cloth like bag.  The last set I bought were more paper-like though the claimed micro filtration with an inner liner.  Worked OK but liked the others I had been using but could to no longer get.

Ordered Kirby bags on Amazon, 6 pack for $15. cloth like, many reviews indicated they bought them to cut up for masks. Indicated they fit "F" and twist versions.  Weird thing is they are about twice the sized of the original bags I had been using.  Had to sort of fold then into the bag to get them to fit.  Is this standard now for Kirby bags?  Package looks to be genuine Kirby. BTW, I have a Gen 5.

Wow, jst noticed this was my 6000th post!

Growing up it was a "sweeper", now it's a vacuum or vac. Don't recall when the change occurred.

One thing I've noticed with these bags is that the cloth bag feels a bit softer when running, the older bags might have been less porous hence a more inflated bag.

Yes that is standard and yes they're genuine Kirby bags. The reason why your other bags were more inflated is because they clog more quicker. Always buy genuine Kirby parts!
