Kirby Wand

I asked this over at Vaccumland, but no one has answered. I need an extra Kirby wand (the straight one) in either black or brown. If you have an extra one that you don't want I'd be interested in buying it from you.

I don't have any extras at the moment, The black ones went with the Heritage II Legend iirc and the G4..
They're actually pretty generic wands that are used by a few other makers as well like Panasonic etc but maybe not in black.

I can't tell if the one I have is black or brown, but I did find some on eBay. I have a Legend II, and use it with attachments mostly since I have no carpets, and one wand is just a little to short. Please, no size queen remarks, LOL.

Most Salvation Army stores, Goodwills, etc. have a pretty large stock of wands and attachments that aren't really assigned to any one vacuum in particular.

Not one weekend goes by in the summer, that I don't find at least one of those cardboard boxes with the Kirby tools in them at a garage sale. The Kirby vacuum is long gone but those tools - frequently never used are there for $5.00.

That said, unless you need a gen-u-whine original, many manufacturers use that diameter. I note that even my Miele wand fits some of the cheapest Walmart attachments, tho', to forestall the inevitable Name Queens, no, the hose and power selection nozzle do not.

There is a Kirby deal down the road from me that I thought of checking, but I figured he would charge an arm and leg for one. I will start checking the thrift stores. I found a nice Kirby Classic III with all the attachment at the Salvation Army for $100.00. I love the bright red attachment that came with the Classic III. I also found one on eBay for $9.50 plus $4.00 shipping

if it is a Legend II it would be a burgandy attachment set, black was with Heritage/Heritage II, and G4, G5, and G6.
brown was with the Classic 1CR, and Classic Omega

My Legend II is mismatched.

When I bought the Kirby from a used vacuum shop I didn't get any attachments with it, so I bought a set off of eBay that are black. I would like to have a set in burgundy since it's one of my favorite colors.
