Most Salvation Army stores, Goodwills, etc. have a pretty large stock of wands and attachments that aren't really assigned to any one vacuum in particular.
Not one weekend goes by in the summer, that I don't find at least one of those cardboard boxes with the Kirby tools in them at a garage sale. The Kirby vacuum is long gone but those tools - frequently never used are there for $5.00.
That said, unless you need a gen-u-whine original, many manufacturers use that diameter. I note that even my Miele wand fits some of the cheapest Walmart attachments, tho', to forestall the inevitable Name Queens, no, the hose and power selection nozzle do not.
