It was a 1 HP model. It was a tank and very quiet. It ground up everything! The best one I ever had.

The disposer of my dreams
I hope one of y'all bought it, it was gone with a buy it now by the time I saw it.... I would have bought it without hesitation. boo hoo! I used one like it at a very posh beach house my mother rented about four years ago and have been dreaming of it ever since--especially since my current house built in 1951 has a retrofit disposer with the switch on one of the dummy drawers in front of the sink. My preschoolers love to play with the switch. Scary, SCARY.
