Thanks Bob for this video. It was like a walk down memory lane. I remember so much oif the things they showed.

Indeed, thanks for posting Bob, unfortunately, the audio seldom matches the pictures, and he doesn’t have any idea what he’s looking at didn’t describe any of the neat appliances or features we were looking at, so it’s really just a picture book it would be better without the audio.

Confusing video. This picture (1.47 into the video) is of a Dutch kitchen with a Dutch stove, brand is Atag.
Ditto John and Louis. The voice-over described exterior in-door access panels on refrigerators while the video showed stoves. I never saw such a feature until GE came out with their pull-down work surface that provided access to milk, juice and other in-door items in the early 1980s.

Some of those images made my heart ache with what I can only describe as homesickness.
I keep thinking about that Margaret Mitchell line, "...look for them only in books for they are gone with the wind".

Ken, agree. I could feel my heartsrings beng pulled thrughout the video and see all those wonderful kitchens that were at the time the epitome and dream of what a kitchen should be.

Since I was born I have lived in a house from the 1960s and it pulls at heart too. Many good meals and memories.
