A big thank you goes out to Greg/gansky1 who was kind enough to load me up with some new doctrine this past weekend during New Years. Included is a huge service binder with most of the KitchenAid dishwasher service manuals from 1957 thru 1981. The KD-20 series is posted today and I will continue posting new dishwasher owners and service manuals over the course of the next two weeks.

2nd that!!

A HUGE THANK-YOU!!!
to both Greg/gansky1 for giving and Unimatic1140 for posting, and just in time in the new year when my KDS-19 Superba (off Ebay) finally starts it's last leg of the journey from WA to FL to my house for a complete rebuild. :)) and maybe a update or two...into a portable?

You're in luck!

To the Great God Hobart:

Please?

I've got it...

And will happily post it (the instruction manual). I'm so happy to have found this forum, and to finally have the service manual for the KDS-15! Thanks everyone!

A Couple of Notes on the KDS-15 Manual

First, all praise Greg and Robert! Greg provided the materials, and Robert scanned them at unbelievably high quality so that they look like original material even on your computer screen.

Second, there is a set of operating instructions in the Service Manual. It is written so that a service tech can explain how to operate the dishwasher to a consumer; it's not the consumer instruction manual. But it is a set of instructions, very thorough, with full information on what each cycle does and how to use it. Even the portable/convertible models are included.

I am still looking forward to getting a copy of the consumer instruction manual, but it's for the sake of completion, not for lack of information. The offerings on Automatic Ephemera give you all the info you need.

Again, thanks to all concerned; this fills one of the biggest gaps in my collection. My goal is to have an instruction manual for each and every vintage appliance I own.

Glad you are enjoying the 15's service manual Sandy!

Matt and I had chatted today via email and he says he will soon send me the 15's owners manual to do a high resolution scan and post in Ephemera. Stay tuned.

Thank you for this KitchenAid festival, Robert! I was really pleased to nab a manual for a the KD-2P portable and there are rumours of KD-12 in the Sherbrooke area, so I just had to have that one as well...

Thank you (and Greg!) for making these available to us - it very much appreciated!!

KDS-18

Was the use and care manual ever posted for this model. If I remember correctly when my Mom got hers in 1977, it was black and white on the front and said "The Sparkling Look from KitchenAid"! More true words were never written!:)

A BIG thank you goes out to Matt (mdelvecc) who provided today's beautiful KitchenAid KD-15 Series owners manual and installation instructions.

You are about to enjoy freedom from the monotony and drudgery of hand dishwashing that will make every mealtime a joy and save you hours and hours in which to do more of the pleasant and important things you like to do. Getting off to the right start with your new KitchenAid dishwasher is all important and that is why we urge you to become thoroughly familiar with the following information before you ever press a Cycle Selector Button. Knowing how to load and operate your KitchenAid properly will not only assure you of top performance but actually add much to the fun of " doing the dishes" automatically.

It's a wonderful manual...
