A KD-10 is offered in Palo Alto, CA, to be removed from its 1952 home. I have photos, in case of interest. It is not running. Racks appear complete except for cutlery holder, gasket looks OK, circular piece below spray arm is rusty. Here is the offer.

it's probably dirt or rust! the lady did send me some more pics but they did not come thru on my e mail. i will contact her to send them again, if i get them i will post them here. i agree, someone needs to save this origional machine! for 95 bucks it's a great deal whether it runs or not!
canada is close to calif isn't it??? just kidding!!!
You know, if the country house was in Ogden, Utah, not Ogden, Quebec, it would be much closer... That would mean you'd be racing me for this one though... LOL
I don't think the owner has researched the historical significance of the model, only finds it interesting because of the age. He also assumes it is repairable and usable, on which Larry of Modern Parts would not agree. At the moment it is still installed in its presumably original position, but I don't know whether he will keep it once removed for upgrading... which is in process.

it might only need a minor servicing to get it running again. my one kd-12 was built in 57 and still has the origional pump seal and doesn't leak a drop!
i am going to contact the seller, 95 bucks is such a good price!
