Thanks guys - it really is in fantastic shape. The antique copper panels have some sort of a lacquer finish on them and it has not aged well. I thought I could get them home and rub in some Brasso. HA - little did I know then what a pain it would be! The panels are not 100 percent copper either. They are regular steel panels with a copper layer on the top that has been machined with the lined finish.
For now I'll use the SS panels, and will work on the copper panels when I have time.
The timer dial for the 11 is larger than the 12, but it will be placeed on the outside of the lower panel, therefore the 12 panels should not interfere with the 11 timer dial. "Or so he says...."
I'll check with the local Hobart dealer on getting a seal for this. Would be nice to have a spare on hand. Anyone have the PN handy?
Ben
