kitchenaid KD1-21AD REALLY NEED SOME HELP/ADVICE

We ran the great Kitchenaid Imperial KD1-21AD outside before installing it in the kitchen. Hooked it up and everything went swell for several days. When we decided to scew the dishwasher to the counter top etc. When we moved the dishwasher (gently) water came out from the underside.

Today we have taken the dishwasher out and upon examination (after taking off the removeable spray arm/filter) we can see the pump (we are inside the dishwasher)has shifted it's position.

Our question: How is the best way to go about (when moving the dishwasher to look underneath, more water came out into the floor - just now) repositioning this part and does the gasket need to be replaced?

IOW's, how does this come apart and where does one find a gasket if it needs to be replaced?

Thanks for any help. I am hoping y'all will have an answer. Love this dishwasher and don't want to live w/out it now that I have found it.

I think I know what happened...

Did you lift the machine up by wedgeing something under the motor?

The pumps on these machines come out from the top and are held in place by 3 spring clips under the tank. One or two of them may have slipped when you wedged the lever under the motor and pushed the motor up a bit causing it to come away from the rubber gasket that seals it to the tank.

Turn off the circuit breaker to the machine and look under it with a flashlight and look for a silver or brass like colored clip and see if you can snap it back down in place. there are 3 of them and they all need to be snapped down.

If that was the problem, then fill it slowly with a bucket and see if the water stops leaking and then you should be alright. I have no access to any pics right now but may be able to post one or two later on.

If you need to lift the machine, wedge somehting under the frames on the sides and adjust the feet up or down as needed to bring it up to the counter and then screw the brackets in place.
