Two years ago we moved into a townhouse, that was built in 2014 - the Washer and Dryer are LG - the washer is a waveform top loader. Up until the other day it worked fine for being 10 years old... Now I noticed what sound like a bearing clunk during the spins cycle...
Which is fine with me. I am not a fan of the no-agitator design...

In our old house we had a speed queen top load washer and dryer - from what I could find in the paperwork
I kept on it, I think it was an AWN432 series - Three Knobs - No Extra rinse switch -
That washer and dryer set was great - they were a little over 10-years old I( think) when we moved two years ago -

We want to get another speed queen set - I do not want that one that came out a few years ago, and people were not thrilled with - want one that would be an equal to our old AWN432 washer - Does Speed Queen still sell one constructed like that one with a real gearbox?

Thank you in advance for the help,
Dan P.

You have two choices. One would be the TC5 SQ, available in either white or matte black (I’d buy the matte black) but it’s your preference. If you don’t want electronic controls you could get a commercial set which have no load size selector and they always fill up to a large load regardless of the cycle but they are fully mechanical and the same as the commercial series has been for over a decade, I’ll leave a link for the set below. It is a full capacity model. These are generally just for hospitality businesses to purchase but I believe they’ve always been available to the public as well but only thru vendors.
