KitchenAid KDC-15 dishwasher (1965?) --for local pickup or the price of shipping

Hello all,

I'm sadly looking to part ways with this beautiful KDC-15 dishwasher in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I believe it's from 1965, based on the copyright date of the only manual I could find for a KDC-15.

If you're willing to pay the cost of shipping, I'm game for trying to find a freight shipper like "You Crate" if they'd come to Cheyenne. Or you can pick up here for free!

There are two known problems: (1) The motor stopped working, and I couldn't find any replacement available. (2) When I had it removed, it turned out it'd been leaking underneath. I believe it leaked only when in use because there wasn't much water damage. My dishwasher repair guy told me the parts needed... and I couldn't find them anywhere.

I'd had the door gasket replaced maybe a year or so before the motor stopped.

I can also give you the electronic manuals that I'd paid to download.

That's the later version of the control panel. Ours used more of a pinky-brown color. The same color was in the plastic of the Imperial and Superba models, too.

Model date

This model series was made from 10/64 to 4/68. As Tom said, this is a later style with the charcoal control panel, so I'd hazard a guess of 1967ish.

Thanks for the information - looks like no takers here for the free pickup or cost of shipping. Hopefully, I'll find another way to keep this dishwasher from the dump.
