Hi - am looking for un undamaged top stainless steel trim piece for the front control panel of a KDS17 dishwasher. Am in Australia, but happy to pay for the part and postage of course.

Realised it's not a separate piece - so looking for the control panel trim as a whole piece.

A picture is worth 1000 words!

Unless you purchased that dw in the US and brought it to Australia, the panel may be completely different on your machine than on the American versions.

Many of them were manufactured in Germany and were very similar in design but had subtle differences.
Please include a picture so those of us who may have a panel hanging around can see if it will swap out with yours.

Both american and european made KDS17 panels exactly the same.

I'm always amazed at all the knowledge you have and share on this site when it comes to Hobart kitchenaids and dishwashers in general. You have got to be the expert of experts here! You have helped me over and over again! Hobart kitchenaids are my favorite dishwashers, the 15 thru 17 series especially!

Anyone here with a kitchenaid question needs to look no further than you!
