A few months ago we go a hobart style kitchenaid dishwasher, it recently developed a squeak that seemed to be coming from the motor so I took the spray arm and all of the parts out of the top to take the motor out and when I put it back together the squeak was gone but it is leaking a heavy stream of water off the drip pan over the motor. I took it back apart cleaned the seals, wiped off the parts and reassembled. It still leaks, all the parts and screws went back in place easily but I'm at a loss. This is our only dishwasher and the scrub brush and sponge just isn't cutting it for me. All help is appreciated.
Thanks,Mark

I think it's standard practice that if you remove the motor, you replace the seal with a new one, no matter how serviceable the existing seal may look, or you'll likely end up with leaks.

If you remove the seal and touch it with your fingers the old gets on the ceramic surface and will cause the machine to leak. Try cleaning the ceramic surfaces with rubbing alcohol on a paper towel and give it a try, if it still leaks you will need to change the seal and lower impeller. The part is discontinued, I still have one for sale if you need it.
