Helping a friend clean out a house where his late partner was a collector to say the least of anything related to whirlpool or KitchenAid.

We found nearly 200 KitchenAid stand mixers dating all the way back to the 20s including nearly 50 brand new in the box mixers going back about 25 years.

His late partner would
pick up any extra bowl or beater or anything in thrift stores along with used mixers as well, we sold it all to a guy who has a business fixing and servicing KitchenAid mixers.

About 50 or 60 new items in the box also went to an auction place in here in Maryland.

This is interesting, just saw a video of Mr. Mixer's a day or so ago about his going to pick this mixer haul up.  Have been following him for a while on social media, he's from Kansas and has built a good business repairing and selling KA mixers.  I'm sure he was fun to meet in person.

An engineer at Hobart took their first mixer home for his wife to try out. She really liked it and told the engineers that it was the best kitchen aid she had ever used and thus the name of the mixer and the home appliance division was born.

After seeing those pictures, I don't feel so bad about having a couple of extra mixers and pressure cookers.

Mr Mixer

It was fun meeting Zack. He’s a very good businessman, and he brought his shop manager a young man of only about 20 who I was very impressed with his ability. They know what they’re doing, which is cool.

Jason found this guy and we reached out to him because we wanted to find a good home for all the mixers. There were a lot of really old ones going back as far as 1920 but also were included in the buy.

It was a lot of work, rounding up all the mixers because they stored in many different areas of the house, it’s a very large townhouse with six stories going from the main level to the upper level where a lot of the mixers were stored, There were 82 steps Jason reminded me. we hired people to help carry a lot of them downstairs and up out of the basement.

Cabinet

Hi there! I know I am late to this party… but there seem to be two cabinets that specifically go to a certain style of KA mixer that I have shown in those pictures. Are the cabinets still available?
