Looks good
Thanks, Ralph. Good source to use when you can't find gaskets. I just checked and Hobart still has 81 of the gaskets that they used on their WM-1 series machines. These had the same door as the Kitchenaid in question. Note: the gasket part number below will fit the older KD-10 thru KD-17 machines.
All the gaskets in the link as well as the Kitchenaid and Hobart came as a straight gasket, and you carefully bend it around the corners.
If you go with the Hobart gasket, the part number is 00-121030-00002 and list for $34.60 each. The small retaining clips are part number 00-024677 and come in a bag of 10 at $2.64 each ($26.40 for the bag). Just call your local Hobart office and ask for it by part number. Don't mention that you are looking for a Kitchenaid gasket. They won't know what you're talking about and will probably tell you to call Kitchenaid.
Whatever gasket you choose, install it by starting out with the center screw on the topo of the door and work your way down one side and then the other. Don't rush thru the bend at the corners. Just take your time and go nice and easy to make it smooth, one screw at a time. Trim off the excess, if any, at the bottom of the door. You can leave a small amount below the door if you like, but not too much.
