Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Its a shame that they don't bring back the topload dishwashers. I can remember when I was 14 and I was in a house and she had a Topload Kitchenaid dishwasher, I'm guessing from the pic listed same time frame. Was a Vari cycle with "Full cycle, Rinse hold, Utinsile & utility". And all I could think was "WOW!!!!--A KITCHENAID!!!!--AND IT'S A TOPLOADING---HOW NEAT!!!!". There were several times after that first time that I was in that house and I would open it and sneak a peak inside. She Truly knew how to load that dishwasher. Then I had seen a top load GE of that current day and it had the tower the shot up and thought "this is it--best design yet". Spent the next 6 years trying to convince my mother that she just had to have one but with no avail. I can't see why they can't make the "roll out" models (particularly the ones GE made). that were built in under the counter like a regular dishwasher, but have the top rack pop up like the portable ones did when you raised the lid. I would have one of those in a heart beat.

Looks vintage to me!!!

It would match up well with the formica dinette sets from the '50s/'60s
(love those vintage dishwashers!)
If I were closer to washington, I would buy it!
The good stuff is ALWAYS far away ):
