When did KitchenAid stop producing laundry appliances?

Shortly after Whirlpool bought Maytag, I believe.  KA laundry was discontinued for focusing on the kitchen line and Maytag laundry positioned as the premium brand.  The KitchenAid Ensemble frontloader pair segued into the Maytag Epic.
