Hello, friends!

This arrived today, mint in box. I had never seen nor heard of this brand until a friend of mine mentioned them. Although I haven't made coffee in it as of yet, I did run it through two cycles to see how it performed. So far I am happy with the results. Tomorrow morning I will put it to the test and find out if the coffee is good.

Is anyone here familiar with this brand, and what years would it have been manufactured?

Beautimous--Just Beautimous and Gorjeezus

Congratulations!! That  brewer was made into the early mid 50s along with the Cory and Sunbeam vacuum pots. CU did not like the gap where the metal pot sits on the plastic base. They showed how water could run down and get into the electrical components creating a possible current leak (ZAP!); be careful when filling and, after rinsing, hold upside down until you dry the outside.

Knapp Monarch

Knapp Monarch made all sorts of small appliances and they were of good quality. I have a Knapp-Monarch space heater which is so cool. They put a little red light bulb inside the grille that kinda gives the faux effect of a fireplace and to tell you when the unit is operating. They didn’t have to do it. A little extra for your money.
Knapp Monarch was purchased by Hoover ( 1969? ) and that propelled Hoover into the small appliance realm.
Recently I’ve found an on-line retailer selling new Knapp Monarch electric “dry” irons. The name, mostly forgotten is now used for nostalgia purposes it seems.
