Kodak Pocket Video Camera

Hi Everyone.
Does anyone own or have seen the New Kodak Vudeo Cam on TV for the Holidays ?

I believe it's Brand New and was wondering if anyone had some thoughts on these as I am in the Market for one. Thanks Eddie

KODAK Zi8 Pocket Video Camera

Is this the camera you have seen? One of these just came into the family here and for the price, about $180.00, though Kodak is doing some discounting, it's not bad. Hooked up to one of the hi-def TVs the picture quality is pretty. It does a reasonable job with night shots as well. My only concern is the editing software is a bit limited. We've been doing some conversion to take the videos into Windows Moviemaker or Adobe Premier. Keep in mind too that unless your computer has the horsepower and a Bluray burner, any videos you burn to DVD would be at regular resolution and not HiDef.

I just wanted some input on this model. Now I have to see if for a few bucks more there is something better although if this will do the job, I'll be happy with that.
