Kroger to aquire Albertson's

According to some Google hits, Albertson's owns both Safeway and Lucky's. Although there are other players in the mix, so who knows for sure?

 

I do most of my grocery shopping at Costco, anyway. Lower prices and usually a reliable selection. However I have noticed with the pandemic and all that Costco's food selections are often lacking. Seems to be an universal problem these days.

 

And prices have gone up at Costco as well as the other stores.

"I stopped going to Walmart"

I can only take the local Walmart for about 15-20 minutes at a time before an feeling oppressive need to get heck out of there ASAP.

Not the type of place one wants to take their time roaming the aisles.

Just a general unpleasant shopping experience for a lot of reasons and has really gone down hill the past 4-5 years.
