This is the exact range I saw at GEM . Government Employees Merchandise. It,believe it or not,was the absolute first appliance I saw or heard of in poppy red. Two days later, Isaw a FRIGIDAIRE washer and dryer in poppy at Rudolfs. Charlie knew I'd like them and had them out ( the Crown pair ) and hooked up to demonstrate. The 1-18s were the best selling laundry pair on his floor. This is the nicest shade of poppy that I've seen.

Poppy red was a popular color for Roy/Gibson products here. My uncle had poppy Roy kitchen appliances which were made by Hupp just like Gibson.
