Lady Kenmore dryer. Few years older and avocado green. Selling with washer as a set. Both in really great shape.

Very nice looking machines. Washer is almost like the machine that I use to own.
This machine doesn't have quite as many cycles as the one I had. Can't tell from the pictures which cycles aren't there. I bought my machine back in 89 and that gray color was called pewter at the time.

Washer is almost 20 years newer than the dryer. The dryer is a 1970 model.
IIRC, the two rocker switches under the console header on the washer ... one is for the light, the other is for ATC on/off.

the actual color is Platinum.....I had the electromechanical in that color....
the Limited's I had in Almond....I had the 1988 set, and purchased another set in 1995, this later one had 3 Speeds, and your right, more cycles, I would have to check my brochures, I know HandWash was added, and I think Heavy Duty and Normal cycles, but can't recall the others....
this machine in the post could be a 1990/93 version, theres an asterisk between the cycles and adjustable options, by pushing that * after hitting start, would cancel the detergent dispenser, and allow the normal fill to progress...that concole top flips up to gain acess to the bulb, as well as extra instructions for the machine....
I used to start my machine with the lowest water level, add detergent, and once agitation started, press the water level UP button, the machine will fill and continue to agitate....
my only suggestion is to replace that agitator with a PLUS or TRIPLE version, the slanted fins of the spiral make a world of difference....

Here is a picture of it being filled with water. I ended up buying both machines for $70. Brought them home and this washer will be used as the weekly machine and the 63 Lady Kenmore in turquoise will go into retirement and be used on special occasions.
Couple of questions about this washer. The detergent filler on the front right of the machine, is there supposed to be a cover on it?

The Avocado green Lady Kenmore dryer next to the 63 turquoise Lady Kenmore dryer and washer. The washer is finally back with the matching dryer. The avocado green Lady K will be the weekly machine and the turquoise 63 Lady K is also in retirement with the washer.

The washer is a 1990 model, but I can't make out the digit immediately to the right of the C in the serial number. C means the machine was made in Clyde, Ohio but the next digit will tell you the year.
Is that an 03 after that digit I can't see? If so, it was made in the third week of whatever year.
Tell us the first digit after the C and you'll have your answer.
I wish you GOOD LUCK with the washer, it looks to be in nice shape. And happy retirement to a nice '63 Lady.

The model number is CX0301057.

ATC is Automatic Temperature Control. A temp sensor monitors the incoming flow and adjusts the hot/cold mix to attain an average target temp. Perhaps there's a tech sheet in the console that details the temps.
the ATC of these machine is based more to warming up sooler temps, not dubbbing them down.....a very good thing....
no cover for the dispenser, but you are lucky enough that the liquid detergent chamber is there, that lifts out, and theres also a little sleeve unit that then slides out from the right hand side which is a diverter for that unit.....
then you can use it for powder detergents.....
what you are missing from the liwuid unit is the 'step' for measuring and siphoning the water out once the flow stops.....have to keep an eye out for one of them.....
to clean the bleach/softner sections, that center 'step' lifts out...
let me look around, I wonder if I still have the books from mine.....

Countryford- about your turq lady k's
Did your turq lady k washer come with the lid opening that way or did you convert it since you have the machine sitting in the corner? That's the first lady k machine I've seen with the lid opening in that direction.

The turquoise Lady K's door was the opposite way. I reversed it due to where it was.

Congratulations, Justin. The identification of and cursive writing for "Lint Storage" is hard not to like, it's both cool and quaint. Or it's just me. The Limited is beautiful in pewter - have never seen it either, in that "color".
Maybe you'll find a matching dryer someday? I'd like my own set one day.

Hey Justin, CONGRATS on getting this new "set"! Very smart move to retire the '63 Lady K pair and save them for special occasions!
Added bonus: this is a much larger capacity machine than the '63! AND with that DA agitator, you can put even more in each load and NOT worry about it being "too full".
I really like the electronic controls because it give you SO many different cycles and options to customize each load! Is it a 2 speed or 3 speed machine?
Can you post a close up shot of the controls please?
