Looks nice, but the price seems a little high. It sounds like it may be a sud-saver model by the description they give.

Fun machine. Had one until '95 , if this site was around then I might still have it. Would have been a moderately simple fix from what I now know...
And a suds saver model!!!
1972 LK SUDS-SAVER WASHER
We have this exact washer @ the warehouse, this was the last standard capacity LK, this one was made the 45th week of 1973. It is well worth the $100 with the sudssaver and these washers still had the really good back-flush self-cleaning lint filter system. I would wager that no other TL washer ever did a better job of controlling and removing lint from clothes. However this is a complex machine and the leak repair could be a big job.

I had never heard one of these with the skinny belt operate until I restored my first one in 2009. It is the quietest top load washer I've ever not heard operate....
As to the leak, the possibilities are many as to where it could be coming from. In addition to the plumbing in the machine for the lint filter, there's the suds return system, the triple dispenser valve and feed hose, as well as the bleach dispenser hose. The machine I restored had numerous holes rusted in the tub.
I don't think one hundred bucks is bad for the machine, but any buyer should prepare for some time invested in tracking down the leak OR paying a service person to do it.

The Fleckenschteens had the matching set right smack in the middle of their kitchen, and it was as quiet as the toaster. Well....almost. The urgent churn of the Variflex is hypnotic, and that's practically all you hear. This machine made me a believer.

Actually,
many of the vintage washers have a lot in common, and we should start celebrating their likenesses. For instance, great rinsing: the unimatics have the overflow, but the full-on, full pressure, one minute spray rinse in the Tags has to be one of the most effective out there. They both really work.
Similarly--but not totally so--when my little canine gal Athena gets my black fleece all white with her cute tiny hairs, the Lady K or the WP gets all the hairs off, while the Unimatic does not, but the Uni gets all the water out. I long for the day when we all gather for a long retreat and plan the washer of the future which we will then manufacture in our common retirement.
