John, you can get all decked out in a tux and your new elegant man jewels when you have the grand opening of the musem.

Never thought of Lady Kenmore as a real person. Interesting. Was there such a woman? Shall I google?

The seller's stinging text about Ebay bidding is a real eye opener, and the pix and descriptions are first rate.

John, I would like to see your collection and maybe you can help me identify a Sears Kenmore cufflinks & tie clasp set I have, they are mini control panels with pastel color buttons trimmed in silver (they are probably Lady's too) but I don't know what year they are? (I gotta find them somewhere in my house??)

Joe.

a real Lady Kenmore?

There was a real Lord and Lady Kenmore, of Kenmore Castle, England, who were somehow related to the family of Captain John Smith, one of the first English settlers of this country.  Captain Smith was also the person that Pocahontas rescued from death, if the legends are correct..

Thanks Joe

You saved me a "goggle."

So the woman in the links must be the real deal. You sure know your Colonial History.

Chuck, can you remember the what the buttons looked like and how they were arranged? What a cool set to have.
