Last call for the West Coast - Spring Wash-In

Since the other thread has dropped into the archives....

I thought I'd make one last announcement for anyone who may have missed it before and might be interested in coming.

WHAT: The Spring Wash-In

WHERE: Southern Cal, South of Los Angeles

WHEN: Saturday, April 21

If anyone else is interested in attending, please let me know via e-mail, I will add your name to the list and give you all of the specifics.

I would love to be there, but as most of you know I went to NYC & MA in January for Chuck and Rich's holiday party, and a tour of New York by Steve "Toggleswitch".  That trip pretty much took care of my long distance travel budget for awhile.  Besides, my nephew is celebrating his 5th b-day that day, and Uncle Tim has to be there.

 

You will be in my thoughts that day because AW.org hospitality can't be beat!

Must send my regrets

I sure had hoped to be able to make it, but in the last 6 wks. I had to spend over $700 on repairs to my truck, and it also needs new tires. Plus I also have to go see about my aunt in Mississippi sometime in the next few weeks.

I know everyone will have a blast, and looking forward to hearing all about it!

Still hope to make it out there at some point in time.

aw man, i missed this!!??!!

i wish i would have seen the post about this wash-in!!! this is was being held, basically in my old stomping grounds. my dad, brother & his wife, aunts & cousins all live in long beach, which i am pretty sure is very close to where this wash-in was being held. DARN IT!!!

i sure would have like to have gone too. oh well, maybe next time.........

A blast from the past!

Oh Kevin. Going thru the thread just brought back so many happy memories. Special friends both new and old. You really made me happy by inviting me. The Maytag Suite is permanently reserved for future wash ins. All the after party quiet talks with you, Gordon, Tim and wonderful Kelly were icing on the cake. I am blessed to have such wonder people in my life and Robert, you are simply awesome for providing this site which brought these great friends (and friends that are as close as family and are my brothers I never had!) into my life. THANK YOU!

Yes I'm sorry to say you did miss it by JUST OVER a year.   This happened April, 2012.

 

If you click the link in reply #6 above, you can see photos, videos and everyone's comments from the wash-in.

 

ALSO - I had set up a Web Cam to broadcast the Wash-In LIVE for those who could not make it.   Thanks to my friend Mike who help set it up, over 3 hour were recorded and can still be viewed by clicking the link below.

Hi Kevin, I wish I could attend but have plans for that weekend. If its anything like last year, it will be awesome. Bob..
