Last Secret Santa thread, I swear!

I had hoped that we'd have a 100% success rate with the whole Secret Santa thing, but maybe my standards were too high.

Here it is February, and I've now heard from TWO people who still haven't gotten their gifts (though I know for a fact that one is on its way.)

Has anyone else not received his gift? If so, please email me at

and let me know.

I'm hoping that the non-gifter thing is attributable to either an innocent memory lapse, or that the gift has gotten lost--in which case, the SS will want to know about it.

We do Secret Santa at another board

and this happens. I got my gift from the other board member promptly, but my "victim" was out "playing" with her boyfriend, and I didn't hear if she'd recieved her gift until after Christmas. I was a nervous wreck.

My gift from my AW person was delayed with a post office mixup, but well worth waiting for! (Thanks again, Appliguy.)

Ho Ho Ho and a bowl of dough

My secret santa gift arrived today. It's a turquoise colored GE hand mixer. Amazing. How did Jamman know I love turquoise!?

I'm actually glad I got it now. Around Christmas so many people heaped lavish gifts on me...the mixer would have just been lost in the shuffle. Now it gets center stage.

Everything's better as Turqoise!

We had a turquoise/aqua Buick LeSabre when I was a kid. It had a matching turquoise interior. I still have my parent's 1959 turquoise recliners.

That color just has a great "vibe".
