Powders

Richard, you ask that question like I`m gonna use it...LOl, the boys went shopping for cider and wine and saw on the shelf "This new powder for Zug machines" hhmmmm well, never be so affronted in all my life...own brand in this house...good job Danksy wasnt here....!!!mind you we have been called own brand snobs by certain Bostonians...Cough!!

Steve, yep a grand crew, and lots more of them about, just difficult to get everyone together etc...I wonder what you`d make of it, all those front loaders, twinnys & powders...one day perhaps!!

Richard, glad you enjoyed it as ever, I was very thankful for all the flicking of covers you did, Flick,Flick, covering all those machines at short notice due to the downpour...didnt dampen the spirits though, hey didnt you take a pic of the Maytags after cleaning...LOL...they do need a renovation and overhaul, but worked superbly, very quiet etc...heres the Hotpoint Liberator 1509/10 back from workshop & spa...lovely

Only have space for one washing machine, one tumble dryer etc.

Super SelectroMatic Front Loader project.

Fantastic, I’m still developing the PCB’s for my project; the software seems to work well, just the hardware letting it down.

Mikes Orders

MIKE
As you have ordered me to show THE PICTURE I shall, but let it be known that it was you who insisted i show it.

AL
That Electrolux cleaner is absolutely beautiful, the design is so elegant, it was i would say worth every penny and effort to bring it back, a wondeful machine.

MIKE
Those Hotpoint toploaders are as you know my favourite Hotpoint machines and again like Al, the effort is sooo worth it when they come back from Marks looking and working so well, so well done, a set of machines to be proud of.

MAYTAGS
It is great to see fots of those lovely machines, again the styling is brilliant but of course in the internal shots show the very sturdy build qaulity, very nice.

JACK
Well Jack how you describe yourself is not how I remember you, drink in hand, ciggy in the other, having a bit of dance, big smile on your face........but you are of course right to expect premium qaulity breakfast foods.

THE PICTURE
This is the only other candid picture taken that I know of..................

Jack I'm suprised you can't remember dancing, it was one of the highlights of the gathering, you strutting your stuff wearing nothing but a smile and socks lol.

Mike... Love the Titan machine, im forever not using the washing basket when on the way out to the line and dropping things. Sheets also get covered in dirt when they fall out too!

The tesco value powder! Ive used tescos own brand for whites before but whats this value like?

Surely a test was done to assertain its performance?

:P

Great to see and hear about another meet, I will make it someday!

Hope the move goes well Mike, bet those machine will get the curtains twitching!

twintubtastic

great to see you all had such a great time, everyone looks on top form, a real tribute to you all that there are more photos of happy faces than washers, so sorry to have missed this one.

I enjoyed the captioned photos, the thought of me and john being on hoovermatic backup lol.

Mike all the love and best for the times ahead,I was quite moved seeing the old pheasent, look forward to seeing you soon.

When the lottery win comes your way, can we have a big cosy sofa in front of the washer demonstration area, had seamus and matt over this weekend and after several loads in the keymatic we came to the conclusion a sofa was the way to go lol.

Speak soon Mathew

Nice Maytag; my childhood washer. Looks like it has not seen too much use in its time, as the print on the buttons and dial is not faded. Imagine seeing one of those across the pond. Cool.

Have a good one,
James

Hiya Mike....

I cant get my head around the fact that its over a week since your last Shavington based do!

Fantastic time had and great to meet Chris, Matt and Robbie (hi guys!) and catch up with everyone else.

To Mike....all I can say is thankyou for having the patience to arrange your wash ins.
Just been back and checked the photo archive and my first attendance was on October 8th 2007 and the magical find of the moment was your Servis Mk72 Electronic (piccy attached below).

To think of all the machines that have graced your kitchen floor over the years (and occasionally pi$$ed themselves all over it!).....many many happy memories.

Thanks for helping to re-kickstart my childhood interest in all things washery. Three and a half years down the line and you have a LOT to answer for! lol.

Onwards to the future.

Cheers Mike.

Highest Regards
Paul

Oi Jon!

You take care of WD1012 wont you! lol.

She may be a bit battered around the edges, but worked quietly and efficiently the last time we powered her up - blimey - probably two years ago! How time flies.

As I mentioned, just keep checking the soundness of the epoxy and have fun with it.

Cheers
Paul
