Apparently it seems most of the coming Electrolux group dishwashers will be produced in the plant close to Milan (the ex Triplex factory based in Solaro).

The review on appliancist.com shows the latest Favorit AEG with a Smeg-like lower spray arm. The Zanussi model in this shot has the same red little arm.

Finally also Zanussi DW have more "AEGesque" racks ... the cutlery basket is in the corner and no more in the middle of the rack !

Louis,
I just wish they made treasure of their latest mistakes .... my Favorit 6071 ( first PLC controlled serie) honestly is not as well built as your 6060.
Also my brother's one (3 y.o. TOL model, rated 28 dbA) is not so silent as your one and mine. It makes an annoying electric shaver buzz....

I think the picture of the spray-arms in 'Favorit's' link, is absolutely hideous. They must surely be the ugliest design ever conceived.

I would not be tempted by this machine. Going by past experience, Zanussi dishwashers did not last that long in our household.

AEG ProClean uploaded on british and dutch websites !

Rolls,
Zanussi dishwashers aren't all the same. BOL models are made in Poland, while MOL/TOL models are made in Milan
Now I have nothing against Poland ( the latest polish made FIAT Panda is more reliable than some italian made cars)
but I have experienced theese BOL machines have lower built quality.

Anyway, AEG ProClean models are on line on aeg-electrolux.co.uk and .nl

NICE!

I like all the videos. And the user manual is even in German... :-) I hope these dishwashers will clean better than the previous generation from Electrolux. They never cleaned as well as B/S/H or Miele - according to our consumer magazine.

"They never cleaned as well as B/S/H or Miele"

Alex,
about AEG you're right. My 10 y.o. Favorit 6071 doesn't clean cups and small bowls on the foldable shelves as well as my sister's brand new Miele G2572. No matter it's just tea or coffee or dried on cereals everything comes out clean from the tall tub miele.
When i have to use the foldable shelves i have to prerinse under the faucet those items that will be loaded there.

As for Zanussi I totally disagree. The "el cheapo" one that has been replaced by the Miele had plenty of flaws (loud, low quality plastics, door hinges with too much clearance) but washed as well as the new Miele. Also I had a R80/Z80 (mid 80 machine) that washed as well. The unbelievable thing is that these machines had just two spray arms, they had neither a spray nozzle on the tub ceiling

As my countertop is lower than my sister's one I can't have a current tall tub DW, so I do hope these new tall tub but standard outer size machines will perform well ... otherwise it will be justa a G1XXX :)

My AEG 6060 has some ageing problems. The drying fan quit working years ago, lately when you open the door the machine will not stop anymore and there are two small rust spots on the racks. I'm still happy with the machine, perhaps even more than in the past. Especially now I'm using Somat-7 and Somat-9 in it. I found that multi-tabs didn't do a good job in my AEG, but the Somat tabs work wonder in it.
