Steve and I had been looking for a second refrigerator for our house. Something that had a decent sized freezer and enough room to store all our drinks in it. Well this is what we found on craigslist.

1961 Hotpoint in Turquoise.

I'm really worried...........

Ya'll are just TOO skinny !

Look at that space between the new fridge and the dryer.
I see a doorway but ya'll must be dog-bone skinny to get between the appliances.

Come to my house....I'll put some meat on yer bones !

LOL

Oops.....

I almost forgot.

Congratulations on the "find"....its a beauty.
I love the swing out shelves.

What a beauty. I can't believe the condition of that fridge, it looks factory fresh!

Congrats!

walk through

That doorway just goes into the hallway. We now keep the door closed and just go the long way around. It was either have the fridge there with the washer and dryer or have nothing there and a walkway. Not to bad going the long way around.

B E A U T I F U L!

Nice fridge, washer and dryer! I love the swing out shelves and drawers, too bad they weren't made like that today.

63 Hotpoint

I use daily a 63 Hotpoint very similar to yours,it keeps food much better than any that are frost free,in my opinion,Mine dosent have the swing out shelves....and is not as pretty as it could use painting, but has never missed a beat, our local appliance store that sold it new got it back on trade, the cold control was bad,so he gave it to me and after finding a control it has been in my kitchen for going on 3 years,I still dont know why defrosting is so dreaded,by most people,it does not bother me ....that H P is a great find.
