Land of Rust

Y'all from Texas apparently are not kidding when you say you are in the land of rust.

Those 'tags seem to have lotsa red/brown acne!

I have seen in Puerto Rico something similar. Many don't have (or want) A/C and are forced to replace appliances just based on rust! I have also seen that people tend to re-paint them.

Steve, Texas is so BIG that it depends upon what part of the state you're in for the "land o' rust". Areas more toward the coast (Where Austin & Glenn are) are more rust prone. And when you're right "there", I've driven through residential areas in Galveston or Corpus Christi and freezers look like they've been stripe panted orange & white LOL. However more dry climates, it's not the case.
