Pretty dismal place to wash clothes but I loved the carts that were formed to fit around the dryer doors.

They have the older Maytags that I miss!
It looked like one of those old 'tags had a metal agitator cap rather than FS dispenser. I'm guessing that's typical for a laundromat application. I'm fairly sure that the 'tags of similar vintage that were in my college dorm laundry room had the dispensers.
The owners clearly aren't sinking any money into that place, but they also know that they'll never be able to replace what they have with a more reliable fleet of machines than those Mighty Maytags. I'd wager that they repair the machines themselves, albeit infrequently.

Mustard yellow, never heard harvest gold described that way before. I reminds me a little of the laundromats that my mother and I used in the 70's. The one we always used in Reynolds had harvest gold Whirlpools and Maytags in the front separated by two avocado green big boys, then a row of Speed Queens in the back. We always used the Whirlpool's because they were in the front.
