The model in question can be found in the link, it is a modern Kenmore. My mother said it started leaking from the bottom left corner. I have not had a chance to look at it yet. If anyone knows common issues on this machine and have some suggestions as to what the leak would be that would be great. I will update with more information as soon as I can

Jed---I had a dishwasher that leaked from one corner, and it turned out the rubber seal that went around the frame had pulled away in that corner. Might be worth checking for something like that.

One more: My Maytag used to leak a bit from one corner if I loaded something large in one of the corners of the bottom rack. The item would channel the water to an unsealed zone, and water would drip out from the bottom of the door.

Lower Left

My aunt had a Kenmore that would do that when a build up of food particles was on the seal under the door. A quick swipe and it was fixed like new.

Some Friends Have:

A Kenmore Dishwasher, that just recently started leaking and it ruined their Kitchen Floor and it leaked through the Walls common to the Front Side of the House. They have been waiting for their Insurance Company to come and get the Dishwasher, to check it out, to see what the cause was.

They had to have the whole Kitchen of Cabinets, Counter-Tops and the Floor, including the Sub-Floor. The House is also old enough, that they have to look into the cost of removal of Asbestos, that was used in the old Linoleum, under the new Linoleum. They will also have to get the Walls Repaired, in the Kitchen area. At this time, their Appliances are in the Dining Room, with the Refrigerator in there as well. The Stove is Gas, so they are either doing a lot of BBQ'ing and Microwaving or Eating out.

I'm not sure about which Model that the Dishwasher is and I probably won't be able to find out.

What's with these Appliances these Days? It is sure too bad that they aren't Manufactured like they used to be.

Peace and Kind Regards, Steve
