Great washer in my book those classics are way better than today 's washer and it would be nice to see a video of that kenmore washer going trought a full cycle from the first fill to the final spin.

You're right; there is nothing quite like the smell of a brand new vintage automatic washing machine, is there? Sigh ... and if you take care of the machine, the new fragrance will last and last ...

Also, LOVE the box of Tide; Sam's Club here we come!!

That is a beautiful machine and I hope you get LOTS AND LOTS of enjoyment out of it.

Congratulations.

Those are very nice machines you have there.Now that's when they were made with quality,class,and built completely in the United States with genuine American made parts.Today's machines are built in a COMMUNIST country with cheap junky parts inside,then shipped here to put an American name on them.What an insult,and we know how they DON'T LAST!
Oh well, I hope you enjoy your new machines.Of course they will last a good long time with the proper care.Oh,Ralph is right about those spaceship lint filters,my mother's 800 model,the alphabet version of yours, had the same filter in it, and without warning,started leaking, and I had to replace it.The new design, was a flat circle on the bottom, and it resembled the letter L. It worked beautifull, but it changed the sound of the machine forever.
PLEASE make a video of it going through the normal cycle when you can, I would love to see and hear this fine machine operate. Have a nice day.
