Looks pretty enemic to me. Is it broken? It seems like it sits there for a long time with very little activity.
What are those black flippy things hanging down? Looks like those would break off pretty easy.

I have an identical LG machine in my house in spain, excellent machine so far.
The turnover is very good the wash results are fine the tangling is minimal, overall if they were available in the UK would have happily have the same there.
The little things hanging down are the lint filter bags and are very effective, they clip into rigid plastic fittings at the top of the drum, not much to break as the bags are soft cloth and certainly seem to collect a lot of rubbish. I washed a bank note by mistake and was able to collect all the mush produced from the little bags, the same applies should one inadvertantly wash a tissue or such like. The spin speed is not the fastest but seems to be fine for the drying conditions here and doesnt crease too much.
Basicaly since I found suitable magnet to enable it to run with lid open, I love the machine

Have you viewed the whole video? Or did you skip a few parts. He demonstrates the wash action in different cycles. You might have seen only a part of the Wool (Lana) cycle and perhaps another very delicate one I couldn't identify. The wash action is pretty good on the normal cycle. I have a smaller version of the Turbodrum and I think the turnover is pretty good. My machine has only one of those bag type lint filters, I guess it would do a pretty good job on dog hair.

The tub is not really small. This machine is supposed to have a 11kg capacity which is 24lbs. Knowing that LG is exxagerating I guess it probably takes around 18lbs.

I will have to find a stronger magnet so I can enjoy the wash action fully.

Small TL capacity

I remember that Thomas Ortega said that small TL washers in Brazil are seriously overrated when it comes to capacity. Some are rated as high as 11KG as you said, but which don't have a tub size that matches the big TLs on the American market. US ones are usually rated by size rather than weight now. I doubt that the tub of that one is as generous as the one in 18lb capacity US washers. If it held much more than my Kenmore portable (1.5 cu ft.), I'd be very surprised.
