I just saw these in the Sunday paper for Best Buy today so I looked for them on the Best Buy website and here they are! I like any washer and dryer new or classic colored Green.

A horse of a different color!

Amazing! How many more colors are we going to be hit with the next time we visit an appliance store?
I don't think car manufacturers offer as many colors nowadays as the appliance manufacturers do! Gee, next thing they should do is offer a choice of interior tub colors to match or contrast with the outside. Imagine a sleek all black unit with one of those cardinal red interiors?

Really now.. And the expense of these LG's and others.. out of sight. I would love to know if it actually cleans any better than my first generation Maytag Neptune FL. It did list for about 1200 buck when first out in 1997 and I paid 900 for ours in October of '97. Left it for the new buyers of the house after 7 years of virtually breakdown free use. And never even had a problem with the mold or mildew so many others had!

Bells and whistles sound nice but they don't do the work of cleaning the clothes.
All you see them doing is adding more and more gimmicks to their products and trying to justify the prices they ask.
Why do we need steam now in washers and dryers? Most buyers didnt even have the where with all to ask for a heater for the water in American machines, no less steam, but they will buy these machines because the sales people will tell them it is the best thing since sliced bread!
Where in the world is there going to be supposed energy savings when it takes power to generate that steam?
And why would I add steam to the dryer to remove wrinkles when the tumbling action should take care of it just fine?
Where will this all end?

I like it better than the Whirlpool shade of green but turqu

TA-DAH!!! Here is the Bahama Blue washer from the LG Site!

With all the new and exciting offerings on the very expensive LG, how about this one.

A feature allowing the user to control everything the machine does, for how long, in what temperature, speed, and what amount -- and not the other way around.

As soon as this mythical machine is invented in turquoise, I will buy it. :)

well blue is my favorite color between dont LG's have that "water plus" option? thats what ive seen i would purchase an lg just for that feature alone! sounds dumb i know ( i want a splashy fler!)
