Well guys it’s nearly a month now since I have taken delivery of the LIEBHERR CN3666 that I ordered off chestermike. Well the fridge freezer arrived and it was in pristine condition and the deliverymen were far better than the ones from John Lewis. Well I’ve been comparing it to the miele KFN8862SD that I had and I must admit that the liebherr just had the edge over the miele it feels far more well built than the miele. It runs silent as where the miele ones was noisy at points. I do like the design better than the miele one and I feel it’s a lot better with the door insert in the fridge compartment. The door handles use to squeak on the miele one on both of them in the short space of time (2 machines in 1 month) anyway they both went back to John Lewis and I got a full refund. Chestermike could have been more helpful if he tried he bent over backwards to help me in my situation of not having a fridge freezer for over 1 month. I would just like to say to chestermike a big thank you.

Very nice fridge! I saw one of these at a home show in Boston nd choked on the price they were asking...$3000 USD I thought that was a tad much for a fridge. Yet i did like it.

I was at Expo Design Center last night and saw the stainless model of this same fridge. It was indeed very expensive for its size, I think $2,600 or $2,900 U.S. But it looked like a nice machine and I liked the way the handles worked.

Mary, I hope you enjoy your new fridge and certainly hope it didn't cost you as much as they appear to go for here in the USA.

No need to apologize--especially on this forum--for paying extra for a quality product. People did that with Maytag washers for decades and those same washers are still sloshing away to this day, many of them after 30, 40, or even 50 years.
